ANGRY BIRDS WORLD opens its doors specially for Step by Step Qatar students! 

LEISURE welcomed Step By Step -center for special needs -Students & staff at ANGRY BIRDS WORLD for a fun-tastic and unique experience. The park opened early in the day and was fully dictated to welcome the guests in an exclusive setup that catered for their needs.  

Located in Doha Festival City, LEISURE, owner and operator of ANGRY BRIDS WORLD, SNOW DUNES and  VIRTUOCITY, is continuously striving to make a positive impact on the local community by engaging in  different socially responsible activities and ethical business practices. 

“At LEISURE, we are committed to our responsibility towards our community, and we are dedicated to  making a positive impact wherever we operate. Children with disabilities are highly diverse group with  different life experiences,” Said Sherif Elbassiouny, Managing Director of LEISURE. “The degree to which  these children are able to integrate in the community and lead a fulfilling life depends on the extent to  which they are accommodated and included. No matter what is their stories are, each child has the right to thrive and we aim to aid in achieving this right.” 

The park is the first ANGRY BIRDS themed park in the world. With over 17,000 sqm of fun rides and  attractions, the park is designed to be accessible to all ages and all abilities while being fully equipped  with rides that comply with international accessibility standards. 

Olcay B. Connor, the Centre Manager of Step by Step Centre for Special Needs said “We would like to  thank ANGRY BIRDS WORLD management for increasing their efforts to integrate children with special  needs. Through this initiative, our children will have more opportunities for social interaction, fun and  meaningful outside activities. This positive movement is incredibly beneficial and will also help public  

awareness of the importance of welcoming and making accommodations for children of all ability  levels.” 

This initiative is a great opportunity to shed the light on an integral segment in the society, and LEISURE  is excited to host a reputable entity as Step by Step that serves a unique cause. LEISURE is looking  forward to continuing making a positive impact on the community and hopes it is contributing to more  engagement in socially responsible practices across Qatar.
